In 2014, I decided it was time to clean up my act. I had been neglecting my health and overall well-being for nearly ten years! Yes, ten years. I was looking ragged around the edges and yearning for a new beginning mentally, spiritually as well as a little needed weight loss. Like most, I was completely naive. I thought I would cut out fat, do a little exercise, meditate for a couple of minutes and my whole life would change.
That is not how it happened! In fact, I have failed more than I have succeeded in this process of cleaning up my act. But, I have learned a few things along the way that I wanted to share. If nothing more, to let others out there know that there is hope. Overall well-being takes work and research…and patience. [Loads of patience.]
